Interior text

Voyage to the ends of the Universe

DuQuesne grabbed to powerful glasses and looked through the spaceship's viewport.

"There's a dark star dead ahead!" he cried. He sprang to the control board and turned on full power.

Margaret cowered back. "What — what's happening?" she whispered fearfully.

"That star is pulling us straight toward it," DuQuesne replied. "And no matter how much power I turn on, the ship doesn't respond.

"We're going to crash right into it — at the speed of light!"
